Australian business travelers' top 10 destinations outside of the Asia Pacific
Although numbers from the American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) reveal most Australian business travelers are taking trips within the Asia-Pacific region, the United States has emerged as the top travel destination for Aussies on business outside of Australasia.
North America has become increasingly popular over the past two years, as seven cities appeared on the list this time around after only five made the cut in 2013-14. Due to the strengthening of the U.S. economy, American cities are beginning to bring in a larger number of foreign visitors.

According to the report, the biggest change over the last year is the increasing dominance of the U.S. as a priority business market for travel outside of APAC. There is a clear growing importance of America to Australian businesses.
However, London continues to have a solid lead at the number one spot outside of the Asia-Pacific despite only the UK, Netherlands and Germany securing spots in the top 10. Below is the list according to Travel Daily News.
